Friday, December 19, 2014 Gesture

An old lady came to meet me yesterday in reference to a person who went missing about ten days ago near Bhusaval while traveling by train. She went to one of the police station where she had a very bad experience and getting any help was a far fetched dream.

She narrated the whole story to me and I put people on job. She was so impressed that while leaving she politely said I will call you my son. I did not know how to react?
Few points I wish to make here are:
1. What do we lose if we politely talk to people?
2. Why can’t we empathize with the people?
3. It is our conduct which plays a major role.
4. It is understood that we cannot solve each and every problem instantly or over a period of time but we can at least show concern and make people feel that we are there.
There are many more things but the moral of the story is that we should be positive and concerned towards the person in trouble. A good gesture on our part can bring so much comfort in some one’s life!
